Duties:
- Patient exam/evaluation – ortho/neuro focused exams, medical history, HPI, review imaging/records/results, physical exam
- Order/take and review diagnostic and therapeutic imaging (x-ray, fluoroscopy) and lab work
- Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
- Patient education as to treatment options, diagnosis, DME and various modalities
- Perform treatments such as trigger point injections, intra-joint injections, arthrocentesis, SPG blocks, and soft tissue injections
- Manage Hormone replacement therapies
- Refer for physical therapy as needed
- Referring Neuropathic pain patients for in office services
- Order DME- Orthotics/Bracing
- Collaboration with other healthcare providers for comprehensive care
- Oversee MA’s and techs
- Documentation- timely and accurate
- Active Physician Assistant license in VA
- Musculoskeletal experience
- Active DEA license
- Monday - Friday (Friday hours end at 1)
- $110k-$120k per year
- Vacation/PTO
- Professional advancement and training (trigger point injections, joint injections. Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, Allergy Testing and Treatment, PENS insertion neuromodulation treatment, nerve blocks)
