Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Annapolis, MD
We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice in Annapolis, MD. We are looking for a provider who can join us on a full-time basis providing direct patient care. Our ideal PA/NP is holistically minded, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point and joint injections. The provider will work as team with Functional medicine providers/nutritionists, Chiropractor, medical assistants, case managers and other support staff.

Duties:
  • Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
  • Order and review diagnostic tests/labs
  • Determine diagnosis and treatment plan formulation in team setting
  • Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises and various modalities
  • Manage patient care to include prescribing exercise, nutritional supplementation and medication as part of functional medical programs
  • Oversee and Administer IV and/or push therapies
  • Procedures- perform trigger point and joint injections
  • Documentation and progress notes
  • Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care

Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • PA/NP license in MD
  • Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
  • Experience with joint injections a plus

Schedule:
  • Full time (Mon- Friday)

Compensation:
  • $110k-130k per year (DOE)
