Virtual Medical Center (VMC) - San Antonio, Virtual Integrated Patient Readiness & Remote Care (VIPRR) Enduring Services

VIPRR located at Virtual Medical Center (VMC), Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), San Antonio, TX.

This contract position offers:

• Monday - Friday - May work remote
• Duty Hours:
• 0500 - 1400 (5:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
• 0800 - 1700 (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• 1200 – 2100 (12:00 PM – 9:00 PM)

• No On-call

Duties:

• Provide a full range of outcome-based credentialed provider services in accordance with privileges granted by the MTF (e.g., supervise and provide general screening and medical care and examinations of patients for routine, acute and chronic conditions involving any and all organ systems; provide immunizations; diagnose, treat, and counsel patients as indicated).
• Technically direct and teach other staff, provide evidenced-based educational lectures and participate in in-service training to staff members.
• Diagnose and treat patients with common acute conditions, chronic illnesses, or minor trauma within accepted protocols, clinical practice guidelines, Nurse Practice Acts, and/or in consultation with a physician.
• Ability to care for patients of all ages, to include pediatric and geriatric populations.

Qualifications:

• Physician Assistant Certification
• Any State license
• DEA License
• 1 year of recent experience
