Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks (may vary with the holidays)
Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday 8-6:30 PM (new schedule just approved by the Board)
Patient Volume: 12-16 patients/day for Scotia Clinic
Procedures: Bread and butter FP – cough, cold, flu, hypertension, diabetes management, chronic care, and MUST be comfortable treating all ages
EMR: IMS (Intelligent Medical Systems)
Licensure Needed: CA license (clean and active)
Certifications Needed: BLS and DEA, also must be currently enrolled in Medi-Cal and Medicaid (PA’s MUST be Nationally Certified)
Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed: Family Medicine, comfortable treating all ages, and working in a rural environment
Other additional pertinent information:
**MUST be flexible to commute to Mad River Clinic at least once a month. In addition, if their solo provider is out sick, on PTO, etc. our locum may need to cover the other clinic on short notice – Mad River is very low patient volume and rural, still all Family Medicine, and about 50 miles from Scotia but will be compensated for their travel to this clinic

Job Responsibilities

Patient Volume:
12-16 patients/day for Scotia Clinic
