The Practice: Independent and entrepreneurial-minded group practice of 3 physicians and one advanced practice providers seeks a certified Physician Assistant to join an established primary care clinic. The current physicians are board certified in Internal Medicine. Work/Life balance is fundamental to all associates and physicians in the group.


Our practice is a member of the independent practice association (IPA), PHPprime. PHPprime provides wrap-around services to help make our practice successful, including care coordination, practice transformation coaching, risk adjustment coding education, population health management, data and analytics, specialist network management, and large group contracting.


The Community: Located in Southeast Denver in the City of Centennial, CO and close to great biking, hiking and various entertainment venues. The Position:

  • Performs a comprehensive patient health assessment, including health history, physical exams and preventive screening.
  • Orders, administers and analyzes diagnostic tests.
  • Monitors quality metrics regularly
  • Establishes systematic follow-up for evaluation of the plan of care and reassesses and modifies the plan, as necessary, including initiation of referrals and consultation with physicians and other health care providers as appropriate.
  • Maintains accurate and confidential records using an electronic health record.
  • Trains patients and families on managing illnesses or injuries and disease prevention.
  • Develops and maintains a good working relationship with the healthcare team.


Qualifications (Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities):

  • Possess current and valid licensure as a Certified Physician Assistant from the CO Medical Board
  • At least one year of experience preferred
  • Valid Prescriptive Authority in the State of Colorado
  • Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification


Workdays: 4.5 days per week with half day on Thursday
