Responsible for the Monthly Consolidating and Consolidated Financial Statements Lead the month-end close process, including balance sheet reconciliations, reporting requirements, and variance analysis Review bi-weekly payroll, journal entries and prepare monthly reconciliations Assist with our global month-end reporting process Lead treasury function including day to day banking and cash forecasting Sarbanes-Oxley compliance Review monthly reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts and certain P&L accounts Ensure proper revenue recognition (606) is applied and compliance with GAAP Manage the reconciliation of Intercompany activity with other company subsidiaries Manage/Review monthly close entries according to GAAP (i.e., Accruals, Cash and CC Reconciliations, Amortization/Depreciation) Oversee the operations of the accounting department including Billing and A/P Ensure that accounts receivables and payables are posted with proper coding and paid in a timely manner Ensure that subledgers are reconciled monthly Assist in the issuance of timely management reports for internal company Entity users Assist with the production of the annual budget, quarterly reforecasts Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management Assist with the preparation of the monthly/quarterly reporting package Work with the Tax Team on tax compliance issues File monthly/quarterly sales tax and real estate tax returns as necessary Prepare/review Internal/External Audit schedules as assigned and conduct audit research and answer questions Assist in establishing/maintaining strong accounting controls and practices over financial reporting driven by Corporate SOX Team Monitor and enforce accounting policies and procedures
