NP/PA _ Family or Adult Medicine _ Novato CA 28 miles north of San Francisco, CA Multi-clinic network FQHC $120 to 160k May be eligible for hiring bonus: $25k Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Responsibilities: Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment for a specified patient population. Consult with staff physicians as needed. Furnishes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions, within their scope of practice. Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate. Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required. Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives. Continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards. As appropriate to the position, participates in specific health promotion, education and/or prevention programs. Assists in the ongoing development and implementation of performance-improvement activities such as quality assurance, peer review, and staff development. Maintains a professional relationship with staff and patients. Assists in the coordination and integration of all health clinic outreach programs as directed by the Medical Director. Performs other related and/or necessary tasks to achieve clinic goals and objectives, as directed by the Medical Director. Other duties as assigned. Requirement: NP/PA with 2-3 Years of hands on clinical experience is required (experience excludes clinical rotations/clerkships) will consider candidates who have completed a residency hands-on training program of 12 or more months duration)
