Physician Assistant needed in Shemya Island
This is a very small, remote island located about 1200 miles southwest of Anchorage, AK
This is for a temporary locum tenens assignment. Need starts immediately, need to be able to fly out by November 4th. Need at least one month of coverage , preferably 2-3 months.
Schedule: Will have clinic hours and call but need to be available at all times. Will carry a walkie-talkie around the island.
Will be seeing patients on the island, mix of residents, government employees and military. Mainly adults but need to be able to see all ages. Total population of 80-100 people.
ANY STATE LICENSE WILL BE ACCEPTED
Must have current license, DEA, ACLS and MUST HAVE AT LEAST 4 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS A PA WITH PRIMARY CARE/FAMILY MEDICINE/EMERGENCY CARE, ETC.
Client will arrange air travel and will be provided room in the barracks.
