*Seeking NPs & PAs for our client needing Locum Outpatient Pediatric Primary Care Coverage.
*Per our client - Pediatric Certification is not required at this point in time.

• Practice Setting: Community Health/FQHC clinic.
• Location: Porterville, California area
• Specialty Requested: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a comfort level working with Pediatric patients and some experience outside of Clinical Rotations in school. Client has stated they will accept an FNP, PA-C, or CPNP - Pediatric Certification is not a requirement at this point.
• Start Date: As soon as credentialing is complete – client states it could take as little as 3 weeks for the right candidate.
• Schedule: 4 days/week – either 7:30a-4:30p or 8a-5p shift. (Clinic open hours: 7:30a-7:30p).
• Additional Coverage requested: One day per week the NP/PA will take the evening shift which is 12pm-9pm & they need for the APP to work one Saturday per month.
• Job Responsibilities: Standard outpatient pediatric primary care coverage including chronic disease management, newborn visits, well checks, medication management, coughs, colds, sports physicals, etc.
• Procedures: None.
• EMR: eClinical Works.
• Census: Average of 22 to 24 patients per 8-hour day.
• Client is ideally looking for a candidate who can commit to 2-3 months to start, with the option to extend If a good fit. Please contact me even if you are not available for the full 2-3 months.
• CA license & DEA required.
• Client is open to considering reasonable travel accommodations.
