Advanced Practice Provider – Endocrinology (NP or PA)
Location: Scottsdale, AZ - Phoenix 10m
Department: Endocrinology
Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent position
Practice Focus: Outpatient with limited inpatient coverage
Position Overview
This role offers the opportunity to join a large, collaborative endocrinology team providing care for complex and medically challenging patients. The position is primarily outpatient-based, with occasional cross-coverage on the inpatient endocrinology service several times per year.
Practice Setting
* Established endocrinology group with:
* 8 physicians
* 8 advanced practice providers
* Nurses, diabetes educators, administrative staff
* Residents and fellows
* Collegial, team-oriented environment focused on high-quality, patient-centered care
* Approximately 9 patients per clinic day
Clinical Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive outpatient endocrinology care
* Manage complex endocrine conditions in collaboration with physicians
* Participate in shared care models alongside APP and physician colleagues
* Provide limited inpatient endocrinology coverage annually at an affiliated location
* Work closely with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Schedule & Work-Life Balance
* Primarily outpatient clinic schedule
* Predictable patient volume
* Occasional inpatient coverage only several times per year

Qualifications
* Nurse Practitioner
* Master’s degree from an accredited NP program
* Certified as ANP or ACNP
* Active state licensure or ability to obtain
* Physician Assistant
* Graduate of an accredited PA program
* NCCPA certification
* Active state licensure or ability to obtain

* BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
* DEA registration required
