**Endocrinology APP opening: Medford, OR** Located 20m to Ashland **Position Details** - Full-time, permanent - Employed - Outpatient ambulatory clinic - M-F, typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 pm 4-days per week in office. - Includes participation in call rotation. - 16-18 patients per day with 16 per day minimum. - Specializing in Endocrinology Diabetes Management, provider will see a majority of patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes - Manage patients on insulin pumps and multi dose insulin injections - Trouble shoot continuous glucose sensors. - A smaller number of established patients with non-diabetic endocrine conditions will also be seen such as hypothyroidism and osteoporosis. - Ambulatory clinic, mostly consultative with no inpatient work. **Compensation Details** - Annual base salary of 123,600 - Performance incentives of up to 20k per year starting in year 2 - Signing bonus up to 10k - 10k relocation assistance - 3k annual CME allowance - 240 hours (30 days) of authorized time off per year - Excellent health, dental, vision and retirement benefits **Call Coverage** - Monthly rotation includes Grants Pass location, would be 1/6 rotation - Typically minimal number of calls received - 6 providers in rotation **Ideal Candidate** - Stable, long term, either PA or NP, willing to train but it can take a long time. - Prefer someone with some experience. - Need to have knowledge of treating diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, etc. - Experience of this as an RN is OK. - Best would be someone who has worked in an Endo clinic for at least a couple of years. **About the Group** - Not-for-profit, comprehensive healthcare system serving 600,000 residents in and around Southern Oregon and Northern California. - Comprised of 3 hospitals and 40 ambulatory clinics. - Progressive and visionary, Medical Group is in the medical forefront. - Virtually all medical specialties and services are represented in the organization dedicated to personalized care and sophisticated technology. - Over 6,000 employees, Group offers outstanding opportunities for career advancement and professional growth. **Location** - Located in picturesque Southern Oregon and is known for its temperate climate with an average of 196 sunny days per year! - Nestled between the Cascade and Siskiyou Mountains, Southern Oregon is in the "rain shadow" of the mountains and avoids much of the famous Pacific Northwest moisture. - Our temperate, four-season climate offers warm summers, mild winters, beautiful springs, and exquisite autumns. - Southern Oregon is a great place to live especially if you love the outdoors! - We offer family- friendly communities, wonderful schools, excellent weather, abundant recreational activities, and an opportunity to enjoy a well- balanced life. - Southern Oregon is known for its hiking, biking, fishing, river-boating, snow-skiing and more! - Popular features of the region include Ashland Shakespeare Festival, Britt Music Festival, Crater Lake National Park, Southern Oregon University, and the Rogue River. - We also have several local, award-winning wineries & vineyards. - Drive to the spectacular Oregon coast in 2 hours or fly to San Francisco or Portland in 50 minutes. - Rogue Valley International Airport in Medford, Oregon is centrally located and easily accessible from most airports around the country.
