Seeking Experienced Emergency Medicine PA / NP.

- Position will be split between Atrium Health Mercy and Southpark
Atrium Health Mercy
- Emergency Department
- ED Volume: 30,000
- 15% admission rate
- Broad patient pathology, moderate acuity
- 16 treatment beds with an efficient layout
- Radiology is available 24 hours per day. CT Scan, Emergent MRI and VQ scans. All studies are reviewed on the Stentor PACS system with a viewing station available at the physician desk.
- MRI available 7 am-10 pm, 7 days a week and then on call
- Cerner EMR; will switch to Epic in 2022
- Transfers are 10 minutes by ground to Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center

- 221-bed adult tertiary acute care facility located a mile from downtown Charlotte

- All specialties available for backup except pediatrics and OB
- Neurosurgery spine services available; intracranial emergencies are transferred
- Affiliation with Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center– Main provided for a full continuum of care
- 20 ICU beds (cardiac, surgical, and medical)
- 41 Telemetry beds

- Emergency Department
- ED Volume: 21,000
- 16 treatment rooms
- Fully equipped ED with efficient layout
- Hospital
- A 30,000 square foot facility offering a higher level of medical expertise to residents of South Park and surrounding communities
- The fully functioning Emergency Department is open 24 hours per day
- Advanced imaging equipment, including a state-of-the-art CT scanner, ultrasound, and X-ray capability, is available on-site, providing the same level of diagnostic capability as a hospital emergency room
- This beautiful, brand new facility sits on the SouthPark healthcare pavilion which also hosts laboratory services, mammography services, physician practices and urgent care. Observation beds are also available for patients requiring a period of extended examination or treatment.
