Advanced Practice - Critical Care

Job Details:

• Provide critical care APP coverage for PM shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
  
• Coverage needed for the following dates: October 12-18, November 9-14, November 23-29, and December 7 through end of year
  
• Maternity leave coverage anticipated for 2027 (exact dates to be confirmed)
  
• Work clinically in the ICU while MD is on call
  
• Expected patient volume of 12 patients
  
• Support staff includes MDs and APPs
  
• Must be able to perform special procedures including intubations, central line placements, and arterial line placements
  
• Must provide case logs from the past 24 months; special privileges such as intubation, arterial lines, thoracentesis, paracentesis, CVC, hemodialysis, chest tube, and thoracentesis require at least 10 cases in the past 24 months or director supervision for the first 10 procedures
  
• Must hold an active TN license and TN DEA (or easily transferrable DEA) at time of presentation
  
• Must be Board Certified
  
• Must have current BLS and ACLS certifications
