We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a fast-paced Urgent Care / Emergency Medicine setting providing high-quality care to adult and pediatric patients. This role involves evaluating patients, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and delivering urgent medical care while collaborating with a supportive clinical team.
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a fast-paced Urgent Care / Emergency Medicine setting providing high-quality care to adult and pediatric patients. This role involves evaluating patients, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and delivering urgent medical care while collaborating with a supportive clinical team.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform physical exams and order/interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications as needed
• Provide urgent care for both adult and pediatric patients
• Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, and splinting
• Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR/EHR system
Qualifications
• Active New York State PA or NP license
• Board Certification (AANP / ANCC / NCCPA)
• Minimum 12 months of Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient care skills
