Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)
Location: Mankato, MN - Minneapolis 80m

Position Overview
This Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider role offers the opportunity to practice in a high-acuity, team-based emergency medicine environment with exposure across multiple community and regional emergency departments. The APP functions as an independent provider while collaborating closely with emergency physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered emergency care.
Primary practice site is Mankato, with future flexibility to support additional regional emergency departments as needed.

Clinical Responsibilities
* Perform comprehensive patient assessments and medical decision-making
* Diagnose and manage acute and emergent medical conditions
* Order, perform, interpret, and communicate diagnostic studies
* Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies
* Provide patient education and discharge planning
* Perform emergency procedures including:
* Laceration repair and incision & drainage
* Lumbar puncture and procedural sedation
* Intubation and non-invasive airway management
* Fracture reduction and splinting
* Critical care management
* Opportunity for solo coverage at critical access hospitals
Training & Support
* Structured Emergency Medicine onboarding program available for new graduates
* 12-month education model incorporating didactic learning, simulation, and clinical immersion
* Ongoing collaboration with physicians, NP/PAs, nursing, and support staff
Schedule
* Full-time position
* Approximately 455 clinical hours per quarter
* Shifts range from 8 to 13 hours
* 24/7 coverage model
* Weekend rotation approximately one weekend per month
* Mix of days, nights, and power shifts
Qualifications
* New graduates will be considered
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Nurse Practitioner
* Master’s-prepared graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
* Current Minnesota RN and APRN license
* Certification as one of the following:
* Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
* Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP)
* Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)
* Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP)
Physician Assistant
* Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
* Current NCCPA certification
* Registration with the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice
Additional Requirements
* DEA registration required
* BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS required (may be obtained after start)
Compensation & Benefits
* Annual compensation range: $128,419.20 – $179,108.80
