Seeking a Board Certified NP/PA for locum coverage in the McLaren Central Michigan ED through 2026. This role supports a 10-hour shift (11AM–9PM) in a Level 4 provisional ED and includes participation in a PRN float pool once onboarded. Local providers only.
Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate with on-site physicians as needed
• Document patient care using Cerner EMR
• Respond to house codes
• Admit patients via hospitalist or ED physician orders
• Follow referral and transfer protocols
Qualifications
• Active Michigan license (IMLC not accepted)
• DEA required (verbal confirmation at name clear)
• ACLS/PALS required
• Minimum 2 years recent ED experience
• Clean background and malpractice history
• NPDB self-query (within 30 days) required
• Must be local (no exceptions)
• Up-to-date immunizations required (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Flu, Covid, TB, TDAP)
