Locum Emergency Medicine NP/PA Opportunity
Level III Emergency Department | Michigan
We are seeking Board-Certified Emergency Medicine NPs or PAs for multiple locum assignments in a busy Level III Emergency Department. This role primarily supports the Fast Track (VUE) area with strong physician backup available 24/7.

Position Overview

Patient volume: ~110/day (divided among providers)

APP works independently in Fast Track (VUE)

10-bed designated area within the ED
-

Attending physicians available 24/7 for consultation

One APP shift daily (11a–11p)

Emergency Medicine residents on site (no APP supervision required)
Physician Coverage Model

Single physician coverage: 2:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Peak coverage: 3 physicians on duty from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Staggered physician start times for optimal coverage
