Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting with a variety of acute conditions
- Perform thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
- Manage patient flow and prioritize care in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards
Additional Information
- Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in New Mexico
- Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Preferred board certifications: Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP-BC), Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP)
- Emergency Medicine experience required
