Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide patient care for emergency and trauma cases in an academic trauma center
- Collaborate with attending physicians, residents, and other providers in a multidisciplinary team
- Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate treatment plans
- Participate in orientation 1-2 days prior to scheduled shifts as required by the client
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
- Adhere to clinical protocols and contribute to best practices in emergency medicine
Additional Information
- Must have trauma experience in an academic setting
- Active Missouri license required
- Emergency Medicine board certifications required: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC), Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP), or Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP-BC)
