Locum | NP/PA – Urgent Care | No Call | Wilkesboro, NC Why This Role

  • Outpatient Urgent Care with steady patient volume
  • Independent practice as sole onsite provider
  • Consistent ongoing need with flexible scheduling
Assignment Details Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care Schedule: Full-time; dates listed in comments (availability must be submitted) Volume: ~20 patients per shift (can vary up to 40 depending on site) Scope: Adults + pediatrics (6 months+) Procedures: I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, minor procedures Support: Center manager, MA, PSA, offsite supervising physician EMR: Epic Travel: Mileage only (no travel/lodging reimbursement) Clinical Details Urgent care management for adults and pediatrics Minor procedures (I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation) Evaluation and treatment of acute, non-emergent conditions Requirements Active NC license Board Certified (NP or PA; NCCPA or NP Boards) BLS Minimum 12 months of Urgent Care or similar experience Must be proficient in Epic Credentialing timeframe: ~20 days Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed (mileage only)
