Locum Tenens Physician Assistant (PA) needed in Rural Northern Montana
Location: Northern Montana
Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Date Range: Various Shifts from January 6th, 2026 – March 11th, 2026 (need may be extended in to June)
This position is posted as a Vendor Management System bid opportunity and is subject to standard vendor submission and evaluation processes.
Compensation: $100.00 hourly rate
Schedule: 24-hour shifts 8:00am-8:00am.
- January: 6th, 7th, 11th, 12th, 19th, 23rd, 27th, 31st
- February: 4th, 11th, 12th
- March: 4th, 5th, 9th, 10th
Responsibilities:
- Solo-Provider ER coverage with MD call support
- 3-bed emergency department
- Patient Volumes: Averages 20 patients per shift (24-hour shifts)
Position Requirements:
- Active Montana State Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
- Active DEA registration
- Minimum 3-years of emergency medicine experience
