Medical Center is looking for an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to fill their PRN need!
Job Responsibilities
• Inpatient Responsibilities: Yes
• Outreach: No
• Telehealth: No
• Job Responsibilities: Function as sole provider covering ED and Med/Surg at MercyOne Elkader
• Number of Physicians: 2
• Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 1
• Supervision of APP(s) expected: No
• Nursing Support: 1 provider, 2 RNs
• Ancillary Staff per provider: 1 Paramedic, occasionally CNAs and NPNs
• Procedures offered in the practice: Emergency Care, Inpatient, Skilled Care
• Number of Exam Rooms per provider: 2
• Medical Imaging: Yes
• Lab & Pharmacy: Yes
• Clinic Provider Daily Volume: ER average 3.6 patients
• Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: Med/Surg 1.4 patients
• EMR: EPIC
• Temp Privilege is an option. Emergency Privileges is not.
Qualifications
• Active IA License - [REQUIRED]
• DEA and CSR in hand - [REQUIRED]
• 100% Clean License/Malpractice/Background - [REQUIRED]
