NP/PA Emergency Medicine opening in Iowa
- Located in West Union, IA - Cedar Rapids 75m
- Full-time, permanent position
Practice Highlights:
- Full-time practice consists of six 24-hour shifts per month
- Critical Access Hospital offering comprehensive care with 25 total beds
- 7-bed Emergency Department with additional capacity for overflow patients
- 20-bed Medical Surgical Department supporting a wide range of inpatient needs
- 5-bed Labor & Delivery unit dedicated to maternal and newborn care
- Operates three Family Practice Clinics providing primary care services, including Behavioral Health support
- Multiple outreach specialty services to enhance access to specialized care in the community
- Integrated approach to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across a variety of clinical needs
- Supported by a Level II Trauma Center, providing medical management of both ground and air emergency transport
- Dedicated physicians, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners available to train motivated candidates
- A physician-led, not-for profit healthcare system
Candidate Requirements/Preferences:
- Priority given to candidates with fellowship training and/or advanced qualification in Emergency Medicine
- Must be comfortable seeing patients of all ages, including pediatrics and adults
- Should be proficient with bedside and advanced emergency procedures, including: Advanced airway techniques, Orthopedic reductions, Laceration repairs, Incision and drainage
