Surgical Critical Care APP Opportunity in Burlington, MA With Active Massachusetts (PA) license required Full-Time Position l Hospital Employed ________________________________________ About the Facility: Nationally recognized 345-bed tertiary care center Designated Level 1 Trauma Center Two 12-bed Surgical Intensive Care Units (SICU & CTICU) Multidisciplinary team including: o 12 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) o 14 Intensivists o Surgical and critical care residents Diverse patient population: Cardiothoracic, Trauma, Transplant, Neurosurgery ________________________________________ What We Offer: Supportive, collaborative team environment focused on patient-centered critical care APP-friendly culture with strong physician-APP collaboration Personalized onboarding and critical care training to support top-of-license practice, including procedural training Paid CME and professional licensing Epic electronic medical record system ________________________________________ Your Role & Impact: Deliver direct care to critically ill surgical patients in both the SICU and CTICU Manage advanced therapies including: o Mechanical ventilation o Hemodynamic monitoring o Resuscitation o ECMO o Vasopressors and inotropes Perform procedures based on skill and credentialing: o Invasive lines o Chest tube insertion Rotate between the two ICUs for diverse clinical exposure ________________________________________ Qualifications: Active Massachusetts Physician Assistant (PA) license required Must be available for nights and weekends Preferred: o 2+ years of experience in Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, or Cardiothoracic Surgery o Completion of a Critical Care Fellowship
