Do you love the outdoors? Are you looking to grow as a clinician? TeamHealth has an opportunity for a physician assistant (PA) or family nurse practitioner (FNP) to join our emergency department (ED) team full-time at Banner Lassen Medical Center in Susanville, California. This facility cares for about 12,000 patients per year and features a 9-bed ED. There are 12 hours of physician coverage, 12 hours of independent APC coverage daily with telemedicine physician support, and a 13% admission rate. There is specialty backup for surgery, interventional radiology, OB/GYN, orthopedics, pediatrics, and psych. Great support from our facility medical director, who is amazing to work with.
Candidates must have ACLS and PALS and strong experience in emergency medicine (EM) and comfortable working solo coverage.
