Position: Experienced Physician Assistant (PA) - Emergency Department Overflow
Location: Tahlequah, OK
Duration: 3 months
Position: Experienced Physician Assistant (PA) - Emergency Department Overflow
*Open to candidate who has graduated recently and rotated through ED during clinical rotations*
Location: Tahlequah, OK
Compensation: $125 - $140/hour
Duration: 3 months
Shifts:
- Shift hours may vary on weekdays and weekends between:
- 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
- 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM
- 12 or more shifts per month
Qualifications:
- Experienced Physician Assistant
- Recent emergency department (ED) experience, with a minimum of ED rotations
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required
- NIHSS stroke certification required
- Oklahoma PA Board certification
- Ability to manage care for adult and pediatric patients in an overflow setting
- Pediatric experience required
- Preferred locum experience with Cerner and ED
- Open to candidates who have recently graduated and rotated through the ED during clinical rotations
Responsibilities:
- Providing care for adult and pediatric patients in an overflow setting
- Managing patient care effectively and efficiently
- Completion of medical records
- Participation in training and staff meetings as needed
Additional Requirements:
- Cerner experience preferred but not required
- Patient ratios of 1:6 or less
- Number of beds: 17
