We are currently seeking a Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to provide full time coverage at a Level III trauma center in Lake Havasu, AZ. The facility handles approximately 28,000 patients annually and requires 24-hour MD coverage. The shifts are 12 hours long, either 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Additionally, there will be 2-3 Advanced Practice Providers on duty during the day.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Physician Assistant with specialization or experience in Emergency Medicine.
• Active PA license in the state of Arizona.
• ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Previous experience working in an emergency department, preferably in a Level III trauma center.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage a high patient volume.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Availability to start immediately for full-time coverage.
