We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) to join our emergency medicine team on a 1099 basis in Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Performing initial patient assessments and triage
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Developing and implementing treatment plans
- Administering medications and other treatments as necessary
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Documenting patient care in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emergency medicine best practices and protocols
Requirements:
- Active PA-C license in the state of Maryland
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency medicine
- Proficient in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), and pediatric advanced life support (PALS)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
