Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

Location: Greater Fort Lee, NJ/NYC Area

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) to become an integral part of our team. Responsibilities:

• Organize and conduct medically prescribed programs aimed at restoring function, preventing disability, and maximizing patient performance.
• Evaluate and treat patients in the Emergency Department.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Participate in clinical education programs.
• Implement new programs and initiatives as necessary.
• Fulfill other professional duties as required.

Facility Details:

• 40 private rooms in the Emergency Department.
• Dedicated fast-track area.
• On-site CT imaging suite.
• Access to state-of-the-art technology including a new ultrasound machine and glidescopes.
• EPIC electronic medical record system.

Team Composition:

• Work alongside 10 Physicians and 23 PAs.
• Collaborate with a diverse and experienced team to deliver high-quality care.

Work Schedule:

Full-time position with 40-hour shifts.

12-hour shifts available: 7am-7pm, 11am-11pm, 7pm-7am.

Two overnight shifts (occasionally three) and half-weekend shifts every six-week block.

Two sick call days per six-week block to ensure work-life balance.

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive compensation ranging from $118,000 to $152,000.

Requirements:

• Licensed Physician Assistant in the state of New Jersey (or eligible for licensure).
• Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Critical Care, or Trauma Surgery experience preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
