Required Skills:
  • Valid Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) certification
  • Proven knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, physiology, and operative techniques
  • Strong understanding of operating room protocols and safety practices
  • Excellent manual dexterity and technical skills in tissue handling, suturing, and cautery
  • Ability to assist with proper positioning, draping, retraction, suctioning, and intraoperative technical functions
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience as a CSFA in a hospital setting
  • Familiarity with various surgical specialties
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification
  • Experience with advanced surgical equipment and stapling devices

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or higher
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant operating room experience as a CSFA or surgical technologist

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work scheduled day shifts
  • Compliance with all healthcare regulatory standards
  • Willingness to adhere to hospital policies and procedures
