Required Skills:
- Valid Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) certification
- Proven knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, physiology, and operative techniques
- Strong understanding of operating room protocols and safety practices
- Excellent manual dexterity and technical skills in tissue handling, suturing, and cautery
- Ability to assist with proper positioning, draping, retraction, suctioning, and intraoperative technical functions
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience as a CSFA in a hospital setting
- Familiarity with various surgical specialties
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Experience with advanced surgical equipment and stapling devices
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or higher
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant operating room experience as a CSFA or surgical technologist
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work scheduled day shifts
- Compliance with all healthcare regulatory standards
- Willingness to adhere to hospital policies and procedures
