Join Our Team as a Temp Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) in the Operating Room – Day Shift in Midland, MI

As a Temp CSFA in the Operating Room, you will work alongside our talented surgical team to ensure procedures run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Your expertise will directly contribute to delivering high-quality surgical care and fostering a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Required Skills:
  • Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) certification
  • Proven knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and physiology
  • Ability to assist with operative techniques, including tissue handling, retraction, suturing, and cautery
  • Strong understanding of surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment management
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to adhere to safety protocols
  • Ability to assist with patient positioning, draping, and intraoperative care

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous experience supporting a variety of surgical procedures
  • Familiarity with operating room technologies and advanced surgical instruments
  • Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
  • Experience in fast-paced surgical environments

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) credential
  • Prior OR assisting experience, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Knowledge of hospital policies, safety standards, and sterile techniques

Other Requirements:
  • Valid certification and licensure as a CSFA
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to work day shifts on a temporary basis
  • Willingness to travel, if applicable
  • Compliance with all health and safety regulations, including applicable certifications and continuing education

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $56.28, along with excellent benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), paid sick leave, and a robust referral bonus program.
