Join a highly respected surgical team seeking a Physician Assistant to support their trauma surgery service for a 13-week locum assignment. You’ll work alongside a collaborative group of surgeons and APPs managing consults, rounds, and first-assist duties. Ortho experience is a plus, but not required.
Job Responsibilities
🩺 Conduct consults and daily inpatient rounds
🤝 Communicate with multidisciplinary care teams
📝 Document and update patient care plans
🔄 Assist in pre- and post-operative care
Qualifications
📅 Minimum 1 year experience in Trauma Surgery
🦴 Ortho experience preferred
🪪 Active state license preferred (can help with temporary licensing)
🏥 Must be eligible for hospital credentialing
Working Hours
📵 No call
📆 13-week assignment with potential for renewal
Skills
🏨 Effective inpatient care and rounding
🧠 Comfortable with trauma consults and post-op care
🤹 Team-oriented, adaptable in fast-paced environments
