Job Responsibilities
• Obtain medical histories and perform physical exams, including skin cancer screenings
• Diagnose and treat skin conditions such as acne, eczema, and rosacea
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Perform procedures including biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy
• Assist in surgical procedures such as Mohs surgery
• Administer minimally invasive cosmetic treatments (Botox, laser resurfacing, chemical peels)
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications
• Educate patients on preventive skincare and treatment options
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Qualifications
• Master’s Degree from an accredited PA program
• Active New York PA license
• NCCPA Certification
• NY Controlled Substance & DEA registration
• Minimum 6 months of dermatology experience (1+ year preferred)
• BLS/ACLS preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
