Full-time PA/NP/Aesthetician - Dermatology Specialist

Location: Southwest Florida

We are a leading dermatology practice in Southwest Florida, committed to providing exceptional skin care and aesthetic services to our patients. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technology, allowing us to offer a wide range of treatments and procedures. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Physician Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Aesthetician to join our growing team of dermatology professionals.

Job Overview

We are looking for a full-time PA, NP, or Aesthetician with a strong background in dermatology to provide high-quality patient care in our Southwest Florida practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both medical and cosmetic dermatology, demonstrating proficiency in diagnosing and treating various skin conditions, as well as performing aesthetic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive dermatological examinations and assessments
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers
  • Perform skin cancer screenings and biopsies
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients
  • Prescribe medications and topical treatments as needed
  • Perform various cosmetic procedures, such as Botox injections, dermal fillers, chemical peels, and laser treatments
  • Educate patients on skin care, sun protection, and preventive measures
  • Collaborate with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dermatology and aesthetic medicine
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff members
  • Contribute to the practice's growth by building strong patient relationships and providing exceptional care

Qualifications

  • Current license as a Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or Aesthetician in the state of Florida
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in dermatology or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of medical and cosmetic dermatology procedures
  • Proficiency in performing skin cancer screenings and biopsies
  • Experience with various aesthetic treatments, including injectables, laser therapies, and chemical peels
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
