We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dermatology NP/PA for a per diem or locum role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to top-tier dermatologic care.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists regarding patient care
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted New York State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Degree from an accredited NP or PA program
- Current and valid board certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dermatology
- Strong diagnostic skills and in-depth understanding of dermatological treatments and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
Compensation:
- Pay rate: $120 per hour
