Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

West Palm Beach, FL


Currently seeking an EXPERIENCED Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our practice in West Palm Beach, FL. The ideal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will hold a current unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license, and be available to work four days a week, 10 hour shifts.


*Must have at least 1 year of clinical Dermatology working experience. New grads will not be considered.*

Requirements for the Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

  • Active Florida Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a degree from an accredited college

  • Dermatology experience required

  • Cosmetic experience preferred

  • Surgical experience preferred


Responsibilities of the Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results.

  • Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose the medical condition of patients.

  • Make diagnoses when different illnesses occur together or in situations where the diagnosis maybe obscure.

  • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.

  • Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.

  • Monitor patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary.
