We are a small, private LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) hospital where we truly work as one team. Our advanced practice providers (NP, PA) collaborate with a dedicated team of Hospitalists and specialists, along with a highly skilled interdisciplinary team, to meet the patient's needs. Our patients are medically complex with an average length of stay of around 25-30 days. This provides us with the privilege of forming more meaningful connections with our patients and witnessing their recovery firsthand, as well as expanding clinical skills.
Job Responsibilities
Providing care to a selected population of patients
Manages the care of patients with medically complex problems that require advanced clinical skills
Enhancing patient care by integrating the competencies of clinical practice, education, consultation, and research
Communicating with physicians and other clinical staff
Qualifications
• Backgrounds considered: Med-Surg, ICU and ER
• LTAC experience a plus, not required
• Critical care experience strongly preferred
• New grads considered on a case-by-case basis with strong ICU experience
• Active Georgia PA or NP license (license-in-process may be considered)
• BLS required
• ACLS required (or obtained within 90 days)
Working Hours
• Day shift (typically under 12 hours; varies by patient load)
• Rotating night call during on-weeks (shared with physician)
• Nursing coverage: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
