• Locum PA coverage for Neuro Trauma / ICU service
• Management of neurosurgery and trauma ICU patients
• Brain, neck, and spine emergency surgery patient care
• Locum APPs do not assist in surgery
• EMR: Cerner Care B
• Management of neurosurgery and trauma ICU patients
• Brain, neck, and spine emergency surgery patient care
• Locum APPs do not assist in surgery
• EMR: Cerner Care B
Job Responsibilities
• Care for emergency neurosurgical trauma cases
• Perform bedside procedures within scope
• Manage 15–20 ICU patients per provider per day
Qualifications
• Active state license
• ACLS required
• ATLS preferred (not a deal breaker with strong experience)
• DEA required
• Clean malpractice required
• Neuro-trauma or neuro-critical care experience required
Working Hours
• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No call
• Coverage dates:
• Jan 6–29
• Feb 3–25
• Mar 3–4
• Mar 9–18
• Mar 23–29
• Apr 7–12
• Apr 20–26
• May 4–13
• May 18–27
• Jun 1–7
• Jun 15–21
• Jun 29 onward
Skills
• Peripheral IV insertion
• Fracture and dislocation reductions
• Central and arterial line placement
• Chest tube placement
• Endotracheal intubation
