• OSF Saint Francis Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Critical Care Team in a busy intensive care environment
• Collaborate with Pulmonary/Critical Care Physicians to serve as a key team member in our multidisciplinary team model caring for patients in Adult Heart ICU and Neuro ICU.
• The Advanced Practice Provider consults with other Service Lines to provide assistance with ventilator and critical care management.
• Responsible for placing Central Venous Catheters and Arterial lines.
• Work with the Illinois Lung Institute physician group, which employs 11 practitioners.
• Night shift and some weekend nights. No Call.
• As the flagship medical center for one of the largest Catholic healthcare systems in the United States, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center is the area’s only Level 1 Trauma Center. It is home to the Children’s Hospital of Illinois, and University of Illinois College of Medicine Residency and Fellowship training programs.
