• The Children’s Hospital of Illinois, a part of OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, is seeking a full time physician assistant to join our Pediatric Intensive Care team.
• The candidate must maintain state license as an PA in the state of Illinois and professional certifications (APLS, ENPC, or PALS). Certification as a physician assistant through a nationally recognized certifying body is required.
• The ideal candidate should have two to three years of related work experience with PICU patients.
• Engage in continuing education (minimum 50 hours every 2 years) in pediatric critical care topics.
• The Children’s Hospital of Illinois has participated in the Vermont-Oxford CQI Collaborative since 1997.
• As the flagship medical center for one of the largest Catholic healthcare systems in the United States, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center is the area’s only Level 1 Trauma Center. It is home to the Children’s Hospital of Illinois, and University of Illinois College of Medicine residency and fellowship training programs.
