Locums Critical Care Physician Assistant in Hershey, Pennsylvania - No Call, Advanced Cardiac ICU
Manage complex cardiovascular critical care patients on 13-hour shifts with no call and hands-on exposure to advanced mechanical circulatory support.
Highlights:
- No call responsibilities
- Three 13-hour shifts per week
- Advanced cardiac critical care focus
- Long-term coverage
Practice & Cases:
- Adult inpatient cardiovascular critical care with approximately 8-12 patients per shift
- Manage ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant patients
- Responsibilities include rounding, admissions, order entry, and postoperative management
- Procedures include arterial and central lines, Swan Ganz catheter management, and IABP removal
Schedule:
- Three 13-hour shifts per week
- Day and night shifts available
- Nights, weekends, and holidays are included in the rotation
Requirements:
- Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Board Certified in Critical Care
- Active Pennsylvania license required
- ACLS and BLS required
