Position Highlights
- Full-time role within a multidisciplinary ICU team
- Collaborative environment working alongside intensivists
- Exposure to high-acuity, complex patient care
- Rotating schedule including 12-hour shifts (days/nights/weekends as needed)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Assist with procedures such as central lines, arterial lines, and intubation support
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and care coordination
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Qualifications
- PA degree from an accredited program
- Eligible for Maine licensure
- National certification required
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Critical care experience preferred
