Critical Care APP - Locums in Louisiana, 7-On/Off Blocks
Step into a high-acuity cardiac ICU setting in Louisiana with flexible block scheduling and fast onboarding.
Highlights
- 7-on/7-off preferred; split schedule also an option
- High-acuity cardiac ICU with transplant, ECMO, vent management
- Start within 30 days with temp privileges
- Direct access to decision-makers; no VMS
Practice Setting
- Inpatient CTICU setting
- Work alongside Attendings, Hospitalists, CT Surgeons, and other CC providers
- Located in Metairie, near New Orleans
Schedule
- Full-time need with block flexibility
- 7a-7p onsite shifts, no call
- Ideally 2 providers rotating 7-on/7-off, but open to other setups
Cases and Procedures
- 8-10 patients per shift
- 1-2 admits per day (alternating with partner facility)
- Cardiac critical care, transplant, ECMO, vent management
- Must be comfortable performing all lines and procedures
Requirements
- Acute Care NP or PA-C with at least 2 years of critical care experience
- Louisiana license required
- ACLS, BLS, DEA
Credentialing
- 30-day credentialing with temp privileges due to safety urgency
