Job Summary:
The ICU team at HCA Florida has a full-time opportunity for an experienced APRN or PA.Qualifications
•Current license as an advanced practice nurse practitioner or physician assistant in the state of Florida
•An Acute Care or Adult Gerontology Acute Care card is required for APRNsResponsibilities
•The APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) or Physician Assistant is responsible for providing medical and nursing services to individuals, families, and groups, with a focus on promoting health and preventing diseases, as well as diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses
•They work both independently and collaboratively with others to diagnose and manage clients' healthcare issues
•They are required to maintain an annual protocol with a supervising physician, as mandated by state professional regulatory agencies
•The Critical Care APPs will work in close collaboration with the Medical ICU attending and team on a daily basis
•Their primary responsibilities include performing new patient evaluations, providing follow-up care for inpatients, coordinating and managing clinical care, and carrying out critical care procedures
