We are currently looking for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our critical care intensivists at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Virginia.

• Outstanding opportunity to join our critical care team and work alongside our 11 intensivists, 1 physician assistant, respiratory therapists, a multitude of medical/surgical consultants, and tenured support staff to ensure 24/7 comprehensive management of our patients
• Our critical care team is based in a mixed medical/surgical ICU with medical, surgical, cardiology, neurology, and trauma units
• Our team handles a wide breadth of critical illnesses from respiratory failure and loss of blood pressure to multi–organ failure and neurosurgical catastrophes
• Full-time schedule including approximately fourteen 12-hour shifts per month (10 days and 4 nights)

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of critical care experience required; new grads may apply if they’ve completed a critical care fellowship program
• Must love building relationships with patients, value bedside manner, and possess excellent clinical skills
• Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
• State licensure and board certification is required
