Candidate Requirements
*Preference will be given to providers who have an active PA license
*Board Status: Board Certified, Board Eligible
*Required Procedures: Arterial and Central Lines
*Preferred Procedures: Vent Management
*Required Certifications: PA Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License
*Minimum Years Experience (if applicable): 2 years of Critical Care or Pulmonary/Critical Care Experience as APP
Job Information
*Typical day: 7p-7a in house with a back up call provider and telemedicine available to the APP.
*Support Staff: 2 APPs and 1 Resident (Includes the Locum) | Resident Manages 12 - 15 of the Patients
*Support Staff: 1 APP/1 Resident
*AVG Med Surg Census: 22
*AVG CTICU Census: 19
*AVG Census: 18
*Procedures: Resp Failure, Sepsis, COVID and/or Med-Surg | ECMO Managed by ECMO Team
*RT and Anesthesia are Responsible for Intubation
*ICU Census: 30 Patients | Currently 25 - 28 Patients
*EMR: Epic
