NaphCare has an exceptional opportunity for a Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) OR Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our healthcare team at our Franklin County Correctional Center. This role allows you to utilize your expertise in psychiatric care to support an underserved population using cutting-edge resources, such as NaphCare's proprietary EHR system, TechCare. Additionally, you will receive a high-level of corporate resources and commitment in order to provide the best, proactive mental health services for our correctional facilities. Hourly rate begins at $57 commensurate on experience and other relevant factors.

NaphCare’s Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners are responsible for ensuring that company goals and objectives are achieved in their assigned service delivery area, conducting, as well as conducting, leading, directing, managing, and evaluating medical services to ensure that contractual obligations and client expectations are met. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is responsible for ensuring all medical services are compliant with the requirements of NCCHC, ACA, and professional medical standards. The successful candidate must hold a current unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of OH, current DEA registration, an appropriate collaborative agreement with the on-site Physician, a valid CPR card, and be certified in a Board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties. A minimum of 1 year experience in psychiatric care with correctional healthcare preferred. Must possess strong written communication and verbal skills and have strong computer skills.
