Job Description
The primary focus of the Physician Assistant is to provide and coordinate direct patient care under the direct supervision of the Medical Director and onsite Supervising Physician.
Details:
Locum, full-time position
20-week contract
Cardiovascular department
Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative healthcare service
Perform medical assessments
Documentation is clear, complete, and concise
Diagnostic results are reviewed and acted upon in a timely manner
Drug therapy is appropriate to the condition being treated
Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to assure care and discharge plan are in place

Qualifications
One year clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in an acute care facility
Graduate of a PA educational program accredited by the ARC or NCCPA
Clinical experience in Cardiology
Current California Physician Assistant license
Current CPR recognition
ACLS within six months of hire
