The Locum Tenens Cardiology Advance Practice Provider opportunity…..

Coverage needed:
November 5, 2018 - February 25, 2019

Details:

• Inpatient & Outpatient
• Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
• No Call
• BLS and ACLS required certifications
• No Nights & Weekends
• Established practice that includes 23 MDs/Dos and 42 RNs
• Large referral network that serves 9 counties
• Cardiovascular diagnostic tests available on site
• Lab and X-ray on site
• Anticipated volume/day: 5
• Average # patients/day/provider: 3-5
• No Critical Care/ICU Duties
• Will respond to codes
• Will not serve as back-up in the Emergency Room
• EPIC EMR
• List of Required Procedures:
  • Cardiac stress tests to be performed at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital
  • Cardiac Consults
  • Assist with follow-up appointments in office for established cardiology patients

Credentialing takes 6+ weeks. New providers will need to come in the day before scheduled start date for orientation.
