Physician Assistant (PA)
Dallas, TX

Overview:
Our cardiology-focused practice in Dallas is seeking a Physician Assistant with experience in cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, or vascular surgery. This role combines morning hospital rounding with outpatient clinic responsibilities, focused on chronic cardiology condition management and continuity of care.

Position Offers:

  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM–3:00 PM
  • Competitive salary: $140,000–150,000 annually (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient follow-up visits
  • Round on hospitalized patients each morning prior to clinic hours
  • Manage medications for chronic cardiology conditions
  • Review test results with patients
  • Support transitions of care between inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Collaborate with the cardiology care team to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, or vascular surgery, ideally within a dedicated cardiology practice
  • Familiarity with advanced cardiac therapies, device management, and post-procedural care
  • Experience with quality improvement initiatives and managing transitions of care between inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Active, current Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in Texas, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
